Job summary

Platform Housing Group is seeking a Lead Engineer - Electrical to cover Nottingham and Newark and surrounding areas. You will lead electrical services, carry out repairs, testing and installations while coaching teammates and guiding apprentices.

The role emphasises safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on customer outcomes and upskilling the trade workforce across Platform Property Care.

Qualifications

• Completed an Electrical apprenticeship or hold an NVQ Level 3 and City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Commissioning and Certification.
• City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent qualification in Inspection and Testing.
• AM2 and 18th Edition regulation.
• DBS check required for customer-facing housing role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of electrical repairs, testing, inspection and maintenance work within customers' homes and communal areas.
• Manage jobs from inspection through to completion, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Coach and mentor colleagues, supporting apprentices and End Point Assessments.
