Job summary

Platform Property Care is seeking a Lead Engineer – Electrical in Derbyshire to deliver high-quality electrical services, repairs and maintenance across customers' homes and communal areas. You will act as technical lead, ensure compliance and coach colleagues while managing jobs from start to finish.

The role prioritises health and safety, continuous improvement and sharing expertise with the trade workforce. A mobile role requiring a valid UK driving licence and DBS check is essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical apprenticeship completed or NVQ Level 3 with City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Commissioning and Certification.
• AM2 and 18th Edition qualification are required or highly desirable.
• Experience in domestic electrical works and adherence to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, testing, inspection and maintenance in customers' homes and communal areas.
• Manage jobs from inspection through to completion with focus on customer service.
• Coach and mentor colleagues and support apprentices in End Point Assessments.
• Audit trades and ensure compliance with standards and best practice.
