Job summary

Align Property Services is seeking a proactive Principal Electrical Building Services Engineer to join our growing team in Otley. You will deliver electrical design and management across a variety of construction projects, guiding junior staff and coordinating with senior leadership.

With a focus on net-zero objectives and energy-efficient systems, you’ll work on surveys, feasibility studies, and full project lifecycles, balancing technical excellence with client expectations and regulatory

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC in Building Services/Electrical Engineering.
• Significant experience in a senior engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of CDM regulations, fire safety and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design from concept to detail and documentation.
• Project management and contract administration.
• Provide early design advice and technical consultancy.
• Oversee site installations and ensure NEC/JCT contract compliance.
• Mentor junior team members and promote cross-discipline collaboration.
