Job summary

Align Property Services is hiring an Electrical Building Services Engineer to join their Building Services team. You will design, survey, manage contracts and deliver early design advice through to detailed electrical services design on varied projects across the public and private sectors.

The role involves leading on-site installations, collaborating across disciplines, and ensuring health, safety and sustainability standards are met.

Qualifications

• A degree or HNC in Building Services/Electrical Engineering.
• Substantial experience in a electrical engineering role.
• Commitment to professional development, ideally working towards MCIBSE.
• Confidence in conducting in electrical surveys, defect analysis, and feasibility reporting.
• High-quality electrical designs and documentation across RIBA stages.
• A supportive leader to mentor colleagues while working collaboratively across disciplines.
• Oversee site installations and ensure compliance with NEC/JCT contracts.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, NBS, and Microsoft Office.
• A strong understanding of CDM regulations, fire safety, and sustainability principles.
• A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel across the area.
