Job summary

MiCiM International is actively seeking an experienced Lead Document Controller to join our mission-critical construction team on complex data centre projects in Reading. You will lead the document control function, ensuring accuracy, accessibility and timely delivery of project information across multiple stakeholders.

You will mentor and coordinate the document control team, drive best practices, and oversee workflows across Procore, Aconex, Asite and SharePoint to support fast-paced project

Qualifications

• Strong document control experience within construction, engineering, fit-out, infrastructure or another project-led environment.
• Experience leading, coordinating or mentoring others within a Document Control function.
• Confidence using document management platforms such as Procore, Aconex, Asite, SharePoint or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and coordinate the Document Control team across allocated projects, helping to maintain high standards and consistent ways of working.
• Keep project documentation accurate, compliant, well organised and easy for project teams and stakeholders to access.
• Oversee workflows, registers, transmittals, reporting and audit trails across the document management system.
• Work closely with project teams, consultants, clients and supply chain partners to support smooth communication and efficient project delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve document control processes, resolve issues quickly and help drive a reliable, quality-focused service.
• Provide guidance to colleagues on document control procedures, naming conventions, workflows and project requirements.
