Hunter Selection Limited is recruiting a Lead Diagnostics & Electrical Systems Engineer in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on leading end-to-end diagnostics programmes for electrical, electronic, EV and high-voltage systems, with responsibilities spanning strategy, development, validation and technical support.

Qualifications

• Extensive engineering background with diagnostic development experience.
• Experience in OEM/Tier 1 or retailer/dealer environments.
• Strong electrical/electronic architectures and diagnostics standards (UDS, ODX, OTX, DoIP).
• Leadership in customer-facing roles managing projects from concept through release.
• Experience with CAN, CAN FD, LIN and Ethernet networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end diagnostics programmes from strategy through release and support.
• Provide expert knowledge in electrical, electronic, EV and high-voltage systems.
• Manage customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle and lead workshops.
• Oversee project delivery: scope, timing, cost, risk, and supplier coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement and growth through data analysis and mentoring engineering teams.
