Job summary

Catering is seeking a Lead Diagnostics & Electrical Systems Engineer in Llanelli to lead end-to-end diagnostic programmes, shape strategy, and provide specialist expertise in electrical, electronic, EV and high-voltage systems. You will manage customer relationships and drive project delivery.

You will oversee milestones, coordinate suppliers, and mentor engineering teams while applying Six Sigma and DMAIC methods to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive engineering background with diagnostic development experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic architectures and diagnostics standards (UDS, ODX, OTX).
• Experience leading customer-facing projects and managing suppliers.
• Familiar with CAN, CAN FD, LIN and Ethernet networks.
• Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer and INCA and problem-solving methods such as Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Create end-to-end diagnostics programmes from strategy to release.
• Provide specialist expertise in EV and high-voltage systems.
• Manage customer relationships through the project lifecycle.
• Oversee delivery including scope, timing, cost, risks and suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement and business growth via data analysis and mentoring.
