Job summary

Command Recruitment is seeking an experienced Master Technician for a leading automotive group in the UK. You will handle advanced diagnostics, servicing and complex repairs and mentor other technicians in a modern workshop.

The role offers a competitive basic salary up to £50,000 with an OTE of £60,000, plus ongoing manufacturer training and clear progression within a large multi-site group.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Master Technician (Level 3 IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Strong experience in diagnostics and general servicing/repair work.
• Excellent knowledge of modern vehicle systems, including electrical diagnostics.
• Ability to work independently and lead by example.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out advanced diagnostics, servicing, and complex repair work.
• Complete mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs to a high standard.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with manufacturer and safety standards.
• Diagnose and resolve complex faults across a wide range of vehicle systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other technicians.
• Maintain efficiency and productivity within the workshop.
