Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire seeks a senior professional to lead the Lanarkshire Data Sharing Partnership Team, driving secure information sharing across health, social care, and partners, and supporting digital solutions that improve services across Lanarkshire.

The role requires extensive knowledge of data sharing, governance, and project management, with the ability to work with local and national colleagues to develop solutions such as the national Health and Social Care Record.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent with Informatics/IT or business-management focus.
• Postgraduate expertise in the practice area demonstrating breadth to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
• Comprehensive knowledge of NHS Lanarkshire core IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership of the Lanarkshire Data Sharing Partnership Team.
• Lead data/information sharing and information governance initiatives.
• Plan, manage, and improve data sharing workstreams across local and national levels.
• Support development of data sharing solutions to improve outcomes for service users.
