Job summary

La Fosse is hiring a Lead Data Products Engineer to define, design and evolve data products powering analytics, modelling, and client solutions. You will shape a greenfield Data Products function within a leading consultancy and drive data quality, governance, and platform evolution across a complex data ecosystem.

The role focuses on enterprise-scale data product design, domain collaboration, and technical leadership to engineers while aligning with product and platform strategy.

Qualifications

Experience leading data engineering or data product teams.
Expertise with modern data platforms, cloud tech & architectures.
Experience with Databricks, SQL, NoSQL and Lakehouse environments.
Exposure to Data Mesh, governance, metadata management and data product thinking.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Leading the design and development of enterprise-scale data products.
Working with domain experts to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
Driving best practices across data quality, governance, observability and reliability.
Defining data contracts, schemas and reusable data assets.
Providing technical leadership to engineers while influencing product and platform strategy.
Contributing to the evolution of a modern Data Platform within a data product-led operating model.
