Job summary

Very Group is seeking a Lead Product Manager - Data to own the vision, strategy and roadmap for data products across the organisation. You will partner with Data Engineering, Governance and Delivery teams to shape and deliver high-quality data products that unlock measurable business value.

You’ll drive product-led ways of working, establish success metrics and collaborate with senior stakeholders to prioritise investments while maintaining responsible data practices.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Product Management, including ownership of complex products, platforms or product portfolios.
• Strong experience working with data products, analytics, reporting platforms or data services.
• Proven ability to develop product strategies, roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Extensive experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Outstanding stakeholder management, with senior leaders and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate compelling product visions aligned to the Data Product strategy.
• Lead discovery to understand user needs, business challenges and opportunities.
• Translate data and technical concepts into clear business value and actionable plans.
• Prioritise roadmaps based on customer impact, value and capacity.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, BI, Governance, Architecture and Delivery teams to deliver data products.
• Influence senior stakeholders and balance trade-offs and investments.
• Establish success metrics and adoption measures to show value and drive improvement.
• Ensure products are governed, trusted and aligned to responsible data practices.
