Job summary

Talent Motion is partnering with a leading global Property Consultancy in London to recruit a Principal Electrical Engineer for Data Centre projects. You will lead the mechanical design and delivery, act as technical lead and mentor, and work directly with developers, investors and operators throughout feasibility to handover.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team, with exposure to project strategy and asset performance, and benefit from a high-profile workload, excellent package and strong

Qualifications

• Fully versed in UK building regulations, British Standards and CIBSE Standards.
• Knowledge of LV systems, standby generation, UPS, lighting, and earthing.
• Ability to lead and mentor within a project team.

Responsibilities

• Design calculations and peer reviews for data centre projects.
• Lead design development across RIBA stages and liaise with stakeholders.
• Mentor graduates and junior engineers while managing work packages.
• Check contractor submittals and provide RFIs responses.
• Prepare detailed designs, reports, and feasibility studies.
