The successful candidate will lead mechanical design packages from concept through commissioning, guiding a disciplined team and coordinating with multidisciplinary groups.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering with Chartered Engineer status.
• Strong background in mechanical building services design, especially data centres.
• Proficiency with industry-standard mechanical design software packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver mechanical work packages on complex data centre projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and manage sub-consultants.
• Engage with major global clients and present technical information clearly.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules to achieve results.
• Mentor junior colleagues and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Apply digital design tools and low-carbon strategies to optimise energy efficiency.
