Job summary

MASS is seeking an experienced Lead Data Analyst in the UK to oversee a specialist team evaluating performance, reliability and effectiveness of complex defence systems. You will lead analysis activities, mentor team members, engage with stakeholders and deliver insights to support critical decision-making.

The role requires five years of system analysis experience, a STEM degree, and the ability to obtain UK government security clearance. Strong communication and data storytelling are essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of system analysis experience.
• Eligible to work in the UK and able to obtain UK government security clearance.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder briefing skills.
• Experience with data, statistics, and decision-support.
• Experience with maritime weapon systems or defense domain is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team providing expert analysis services.
• Ensure contracted core deliveries meet agreed milestones.
• Resource manage and support analysis of functional data to determine system performance and reliability.
• Provide briefings to the intelligent customer and represent them at technical meetings.
• Disseminate high-quality information to stakeholders.
• Apply recognised best practice in specialist areas.
• Mentor and coach early career team members and help develop specialist skills.
