Job summary

MASS is recruiting a Lead Data Analyst for our Wiltshire onsite operation. You will oversee a specialist analytics team, manage performance insights of complex Defence systems, and guide stakeholders through technical briefings. This role requires leadership and a strong data mindset in a highly technical environment.

You will mentor junior staff, drive high-quality analysis, and ensure delivery milestones are met while contributing to continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of system analysis experience.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of system performance and statistics.
• Experience analysing data to support decision-making.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentational communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team providing expert analysis services.
• Ensure contracted core deliveries meet milestones.
• Resource manage and support analysis of functional data to determine system performance and reliability.
• Provide briefings to our intelligent customer and represent / support them at technical meetings.
• Ensure the effective dissemination of high-quality information to appropriate stakeholders.
• Ensure the application of recognised best practice in specialist areas.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to early career team members.
