To succeed, you should:

  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and equipping your team with necessary skills and mindset.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards, and understand the financial aspects of running a kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Build a coaching culture within your team, working closely with the Head Chef on recruitment and development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, capable of quick decision-making.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, with a track record of performance in fast-paced, complex environments.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to have meaningful conversations and support your team effectively.
  • Proven experience in maintaining high standards in food, health, and safety.
  • Financial understanding of kitchen operations, including gross profit and stock management.
  • Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.
