Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to lead the day-to-day cooking operations across a contract catering site. You will supervise a team, ensure high standards of food preparation, and uphold safety and hygiene at all times.

Weekend shifts are available, and you will report to senior chefs while maintaining stock levels and collaborating with the culinary team to deliver quality meals and service throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in Contract Catering is required.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety is required.
• Proven track record in supervising a team and leadership is crucial.
• Demonstrate high standards and be well organised in all areas of management.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support and handle day-to-day food preparation and duties assigned by senior chefs.
• Manage the cooking process at your station for several dishes to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure safety, hygiene, and correct use of department utensils and equipment on site.
• Notify Senior Chefs when inventory is running low and keep kitchen stocked with fresh ingredients.
• Work with the culinary team to maintain high-quality food and service throughout shifts.
