Job summary

Bis Henderson Recruitment seeks a Contracts Operations Manager in Oxfordshire. The role oversees daily warehouse operations for a high-profile organic food client, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely handling of products across retail, pubs, wholesale and e-commerce.

You will contribute to operational improvement, lead teams in a fast-paced setting, and support the planned warehouse management system implementation as part of a succession plan for broader leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading teams and driving operational performance.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of stock control and accuracy principles.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Confidence using operational systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day performance of the operation ensuring safe, accurate and efficient handling of products.
• Lead and develop warehouse teams to deliver against targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Drive operational improvements and systemic changes, including warehouse management system implementation.
• Support open-book, 3PL contract environment and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
