Job summary

Pertemps Network Group in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Operations & Logistics Manager to lead a busy warehouse and logistics operation, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will own the day-to-day activities, coach the team, manage stock, coordinate transport, and drive improvements using KPI data to support growth.

Qualifications

• Experience managing warehouse, logistics, distribution or operational teams.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
• Experience coordinating transport operations and 3PL providers.
• Practical understanding of health and safety in warehouse/logistics.
• Experience with ERP, WMS or logistics systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse, transport and logistics operations to ensure on-time and accurate orders.
• Lead and support the operational team, clarifying priorities and performance expectations.
• Monitor stock and inventory, ensuring correct receiving, storage, picking and dispatch.
• Coordinate deliveries with internal teams and external providers to keep movements smooth.
• Drive health and safety compliance across the operation.
• Use KPIs to identify issues and implement improvements.
• Seek simpler, more efficient ways of working to enable growth.
