Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd in South Wales is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee delivery of External Wall Insulation (EWI) and retrofit projects across social housing. You will lead Site Managers, manage multiple projects and ensure safety, quality and value for communities.

The role requires experience in social housing, EWI, fabric improvements and decarbonisation, with strong client relationships and commercially aware decision-making. Permanent or freelance options available.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering social housing retrofit, EWI and fabric improvement works.
• Proven ability to lead site teams, manage multiple projects and stay on programme.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to control costs and risk.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple social housing retrofit and refurbishment projects.
• Manage Site Managers and project delivery teams.
• Lead EWI, fabric improvement and energy efficiency programmes.
• Ensure safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Support commercial and operational performance of the division.
• Build strong relationships with clients and delivery partners.
• Identify risks and implement effective mitigations.
• Drive quality, compliance and customer satisfaction.
