Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd in South Wales is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee external wall insulation (EWI), energy efficiency, refurbishment and planned improvement works across social housing projects.

You will lead site teams, manage relationships with clients and consultants, ensure safety, programme and budget compliance, and contribute to the growth of a specialist retrofit division.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing retrofit, refurbishment and maintenance contracts.
• Strong understanding of External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and site teams simultaneously.
• Client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and autonomous ownership of outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of social housing retrofit and refurbishment projects.
• Manage Site Managers and delivery teams.
• Lead EWI, fabric improvement and energy efficiency programmes.
• Ensure safety, on-programme delivery and budget compliance.
• Support commercial and operational performance of the division.
