Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Consultant Psychiatrist to lead an Assertive Outreach Team in Oxford. You will provide clinical leadership, deliver recovery-focused care, and engage with complex patients who struggle to access conventional services.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and GMC registration are essential requirements.
• Eligible for GMC Specialist Register or Specialist Registrar within 6 months of CCT.
• Membership or Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical leadership and medical input to the Assertive Outreach Team.
• Deliver evidence-based bio-psychosocial interventions to promote recovery.
• Be responsible for patients seen by themselves and those supervised.
• Provide expert assessments informed by evidence for complex cases.
• Lead clinical governance for the team as a clinical lead.
• Liaise with other mental health teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Take RC responsibility for outpatients under MHA provisions.
• Communicate with patients, families, carers and partner agencies.
• Lead training and teaching within the team and wider Trust.
