Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our South Wales team to delivery on education, defence and healthcare projects. Initially supporting sites around Merthyr Tydfil and Tredegar, with opportunities to work across the South Wales region.

You will be the number one on site, driving mobilisation through to completion, leading a team, and building strong client relationships while ensuring safety, on-time delivery and value.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience leading projects as a “number one” on site.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness for cost/value management.
• In-depth technical construction knowledge and delivery risk understanding.
• Experience working under NEC forms of contract.
• Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
• Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for successful project delivery including programme, cost, quality and risk.
• Lead and develop the project team with clear direction and high performance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as the primary delivery contact.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality compliance on site.
• Drive programme and cost control, identifying risks and opportunities.
