Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale construction project from mobilisation through to handover in the North East region. You will act as the on-site lead, directing the team, managing stakeholders, and delivering the project safely, on time and within budget.

You will have proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager with Tier 1 contractors, strong commercial acumen, NEC contract knowledge, and excellent leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects as Project Manager or Senior Site Manager on large construction schemes.
• Experience leading schemes £10m+.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness with cost/value management.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and contract administration.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong planning and organisational capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with a client focus.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for on-site delivery including programme, commercial performance, quality and risk management.
• Lead and develop the project team, setting direction and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as primary contact during delivery.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality standards across site activities.
• Drive programme and cost control; identify risks and opportunities to maximise profitability.
