Job summary

Elite Hotels is seeking a proactive supervisor to join our Conference and Banqueting Team. You will coordinate events, weddings and functions, guiding a team including casual or part-time staff and providing clear direction.

Engage with guests, upsell facilities, and lead tours of the hotel as a premier conference and events venue. You will train new team members and focus on delivering outstanding customer service to every guest.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating events and managing staff.
• Strong customer service focus with guest satisfaction in mind.
• Ability to upsell facilities and services to conference guests.

Responsibilities

• Possessing excellent organisational skills.
• Management of staff and awareness of areas of responsibility: e.g. working with housekeeping, kitchen and waiting staff to ensure smooth running of events
• Induction and on the job training for new staff
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Have excellent customer service skills and the drive to deliver service excellence at all times
