You will lead day-to-day operations, provide technical support to students and staff, supervise technicians, and help deliver high-quality practical and simulation-based learning in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent technical and organisational skills.
• Experience supporting simulation, high-fidelity simulation or specialist equipment in a practical learning environment.
• Effective communicator with ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and stakeholders.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems, work independently, manage competing priorities and lead a small team.
• Experience within Nursing, Midwifery, clinical skills, simulation or higher education settings would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of clinical skills, simulation and high-fidelity simulation facilities, ensuring equipment and teaching spaces are prepared, maintained and operated safely.
• Provide technical support and guidance to students and academic staff, configure and support high-fidelity simulation scenarios, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Supervise and support technicians, manage stock and maintenance records, and contribute to service improvements.
• Work collaboratively across teams to deliver high-quality practical and simulation-based learning experiences while ensuring compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements.
