Job summary

City St George’s, University of London is seeking a Senior Technician to support clinical skills, simulation and lab facilities across Nursing and Midwifery programmes. You will ensure spaces are safe, well-prepared and fully functional, working closely with academic staff and students.

The role also requires leading a small technical team, maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, managing stock and records, and contributing to high-quality practical and simulation-based learning while

Qualifications

• Experience supporting simulation, high-fidelity simulation or specialist equipment in a practical learning environment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Effective communicator with students, staff and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of clinical skills, simulation and high-fidelity facilities.
• Provide technical support and guidance to students and academic staff.
• Supervise technicians and manage stock and maintenance records.
