Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Clean Water Process Engineer at Principal to Associate Director level to join our Water Engineering teams across multiple UK locations including Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, London, Newcastle or Glasgow.

You will lead process design across feasibility to detailed design for water and water reuse projects, guiding junior staff and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver time, cost and quality targets while engaging with clients.

Qualifications

• Chemical or Environmental Engineering degree or MSc is required.
• Professional registration as CEng or working towards Chartership within 12 months.
• Significant municipal water industry experience and consultancy background.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design deliverables including option studies, mass balance and P&IDs.
• Perform outline or detailed process engineering design for infrastructure projects.
• Attend site visits for data collection and operator engagement.
• Provide input to procurement and support technical discussions with clients.
• Coach junior staff and supervise technical work across disciplines.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to meet time, cost and quality targets.
• Prepare proposals, scopes, schedules and budgets; liaise with clients.
