Stantec is seeking a Principal Process Engineer – Clean Water to lead process engineering delivery across clean water projects in the UK. Based in London, High Wycombe, Reading, Brighton, Southampton or Cambridge, you will provide technical direction from feasibility through to detailed design and implementation, mentoring engineers and building client relationships.

Formación

• Degree-qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (CEng/IEng) or actively working towards professional registration.
• Significant experience in clean water process engineering within the water sector.
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes, design and engineering principles.
• Experience developing and reviewing process designs, calculations and technical deliverables.
• Proven ability to take technical ownership of projects within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills engaging with clients and colleagues.
• Experience mentoring less experienced engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead process engineering delivery across clean water projects, providing technical direction from feasibility to detailed design and implementation.
• Develop and review clean water process designs, calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and specifications.
• Evaluate treatment options and develop practical solutions to improve water quality and asset performance.
• Contribute to water treatment works upgrades, capacity improvements and resilience projects.
• Take technical ownership of project deliverables and ensure designs meet client requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical and other engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support feasibility studies, design reviews, commissioning and process performance investigations.
• Build client relationships and contribute to bids, frameworks and business development.
• Mentor developing engineers and share technical knowledge for continuous improvement across the team.
