Job summary

Anglian Water's Strategic Pipeline Alliance seeks a Lead Civil Engineer to deliver detailed design output for pipelines, pump stations and break tanks. You will lead the design elements in your section and coordinate with Design Leads and other discipline designers to ensure a consistent approach.

This full‑time, permanent role offers flexible/hybrid work from the Peterborough office and home. Applicants should have an engineering degree (Chartered preferred) and proven multi‑disciplinary

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (or equivalent) required.
• Chartered status preferred; multi-disciplinary collaboration experience.
• Strong civil design knowledge and ability to lead design elements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed design output for pipelines, pump stations and break tanks.
• Lead design elements within SPA and ensure consistency with other disciplines.
• Monitor workload and liaise with Design Leads and discipline designers.
• Mentor graduates and develop technical knowledge.
• Engage with Client to understand project requirements and challenge asset standards.
