Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the Strategic Pipeline Alliance in a flexible hybrid role based from Peterborough. You will provide civil engineering design capability to develop and deliver water and pipeline solutions within a multidisciplinary team.

You should be degree qualified in Civil Engineering with water-industry project experience, and comfortable using CAD/BIM/GIS and European standards. This role supports project delivery while emphasising safety and value.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering and solid experience in the engineering industry.
• Design & build experience within the water industry.
• Experience in water-sector asset design and capital projects.
• Proficient with MS Office and relevant design software; familiar with standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil engineering design capability and technical delivery within the SPA programme.
• Produce calculations and specifications; liaise with CAD Engineers for drawings in CAD, BIM, and GIS.
• Work within a multi-discipline design team to deliver outputs on time and within budget.
• Drive health and safety in design and ensure compliance with CDM procedures.
