Job summary

Anglian Water’s Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) seeks a Lead Civil Engineer to drive detailed design for pipelines, pump stations and associated civil works. You’ll work hybrid from Peterborough and home, guiding design output, information flow and consistency across the team.

You will lead multidisciplinary civil design, coordinate with clients and delivery teams, and mentor graduates while upholding safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Chartered status preferred.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary civil design within water sector advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Understand Health, Safety and Environmental issues and implement mitigations.
• Own design and related activities in your SPA section.
• Collaborate with Client to meet project requirements and challenge asset standards.
• Coordinate design interactions with delivery, procurement and commercial teams.
• Mentor graduate engineers to develop technical knowledge.
• Interface with GI, Utilities and Environmental teams.
