Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to oversee the design and delivery of civil infrastructure for a major new-build project at the Sellafield site. You will plan design scopes, manage delivery schedules, and lead engineers and designers to ensure safe, compliant, and constructible solutions.

The role requires a civil or structural engineering degree (chartered preferred), extensive experience in highways, drainage, earthworks and underground services, and strong leadership

Qualifications

• A civil or structural engineering degree, with chartered status preferred.
• Proven, extensive experience in civil design, including highways, drainage, earthworks, and underground services.
• Expert proficiency in civil design software such as Infodrainage, Civils 3D, and AutoCAD.
• Experience working within regulated environments or industrial sectors; nuclear experience is highly desirable, but other industrial backgrounds will be considered.
• Experience leading teams, managing project delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
• Working knowledge of CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and delivery of civil infrastructure for a large-scale new-build project.
• Plan civil design scopes and manage delivery schedules.
• Lead a team of engineers and designers, providing technical oversight.
• Coordinate cross-discipline collaboration and develop 3D models and detailed drawings.
