Job summary

Prezzo Italian is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen team in our UK restaurants. You will oversee daily operations, manage stock and costs, and ensure the highest standards of food quality and guest experience across a busy Italian kitchen.

You will inspire and coach your team, work with the General Manager on rota planning, and drive learning and development through Prezzo's accreditation schemes and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
• Understanding of stock, waste, labour and kitchen costs and how to run an efficient operation.
• Commitment to food quality, consistency, cleanliness and HACCP/food safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen and front-line team to deliver high-quality Italian dishes.
• Manage stock, waste, and costs; ensure consistent kitchen operations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance; mentor and coach staff.
