Job summary

Prezzo Italian is seeking a high-energy Head Chef to lead the kitchen with purpose and develop a brilliant team. You’ll guide the restaurant through hands-on leadership, ensuring consistency of freshly prepared pasta, pizza and Italian favourites, served with pride.

You’ll manage stock, waste and costs, mentor your kitchen team, and work closely with the General Manager to deliver an exceptional guest experience across the brand’s UK locations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
• You understand stock, waste, labour and kitchen costs and know how to run an efficient operation.
• You care about food quality, consistency, cleanliness and food safety/HACCP.
• You’re a positive, hands-on leader who enjoys coaching people and building a strong kitchen team.
• You understand that a great guest experience starts in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front and develop a brilliant team in a busy kitchen.
• Deliver consistently great food and maintain kitchen standards, stock, waste and costs.
• Work closely with the General Manager to ensure restaurant success across locations.
• Create an environment where the team enjoys coming to work and delivers pride in every plate.
