Job summary

Prezzo Italian seeks a high-energy Head Chef to lead the kitchen, developing a strong team and delivering Italian favourites with pride. You’ll oversee rota planning with the General Manager, manage stock, waste and costs, and ensure HACCP-compliant food safety while driving guest satisfaction.

Expect 48 contracted hours per week across five days, with a focus on great pay, tronc, and appealing perks that support work-life balance across Prezzo locations in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a busy kitchen.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Knowledge of stock management, waste and kitchen costs.
• Good food-safety practices and HACCP understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team and rota in collaboration with the General Manager.
• Manage stock, waste and costs to keep kitchen operations efficient.
• Deliver consistently high-quality Italian dishes and guest experiences.
• Recruit, train and coach kitchen staff to maintain standards.
