Job summary

Lifeways is seeking a Care Team Leader for Exmouth to work with the Service Manager in leading our established team. You will oversee day-to-day management, drive recruitment, supervise staff, and ensure person-centred care for people supported by Lifeways across Exmouth and nearby services.

Applicants with an NVQ / QCF in Health & Social Care or equivalent and a commitment to development are encouraged. A full UK driving licence and travel flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading care teams and delivering person-centred care.
• Willingness to drive company vehicles and travel to services in Exmouth and Newton Abbot.
• NVQ / QCF in Health & Social Care or equivalent is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care.
• Recruit, interview and guide staff; perform supervision and staff development.
• Ensure accurate record keeping and effective communication with people we support and professionals.
