Job summary

Olive Recruit Midlands seeks an experienced Team Leader to provide leadership within high-acuity care packages for individuals with complex needs and behaviours that challenge. You will work in 3:1, 4:1 and 5:1 staffing arrangements, combining hands-on support with team leadership and risk management.

The role requires strong de-escalation and crisis management skills, safeguarding knowledge and experience leading staff through challenging situations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering care in high-acuity settings with complex needs.
• Ability to lead staff teams and coordinate shifts.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, DoLS and least restrictive practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support staff during shifts.
• Ensure safe staffing and effective deployment.
• Follow care, PBS plans and risk assessments.
• Recognise triggers and support de-escalation.
• Lead in behavioral incidents and crisis response.
• Ensure interventions are justified and authorised.
• Monitor practice and address issues.
• Support supervision and development.
