Zusammenfassung

Home Instead is seeking a Lead Care Professional to start services for new clients and then support the care professionals assigned to them. You will ensure the initial visits are delivered hands-on, build trust, and mentor teams to maintain high standards of care.

You will conduct compliance checks, observe practices, and keep accurate records, including medication administration. A full UK driving licence and DBS checks will be required for safeguarding and quality assurance.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a care setting
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for travelling between clients
• A warm, patient and reliable approach, with the confidence to make decisions and lead by example
• Good communication and record-keeping skills
• Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and person-centred care

Aufgaben

• Starting the service for new clients, delivering their first visits hands-on and building trust from the outset
• Supporting the Care Professionals matched with each client, helping them settle in and understand the client's needs
• Carrying out compliance checks, including spot checks and observations, to maintain high standards of care
• Mentoring and coaching care colleagues, including inducting new starters
• Keeping accurate, timely records and administering medication in line with policy
• Building strong relationships with clients, families and visiting professionals
• Raising safeguarding or quality concerns promptly and helping us meet CQC standards
• Covering visits when needed
