Job summary

Walkers Nurseries Ltd in Doncaster is seeking a Senior Café Operations Supervisor to lead a dynamic two-venue hospitality space. You will mentor three Café Supervisors and coordinate with Kitchen Manager and Head Chef to deliver fast, high-quality service.

In this role you will bridge front-of-house and kitchen operations, ensure opening/closing procedures, cash handling and food-safety compliance, and rota-based weekend work. A proven hospitality leadership track record is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in hospitality.
• Experience managing a team of supervisors.
• Able to work weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Mentor, schedule, and develop a team of 3 Café Supervisors and service staff.
• Dual-Venue Excellence: Maintain high-speed efficiency in the self-service café while delivering premium hospitality in the table-service venue.
• BOH Collaboration: Coordinate with Kitchen Manager and Head Chef to ensure seamless food service and allergen compliance.
• Operations & Compliance: Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash reconciliation, and food safety compliance.
