Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations in a major High Street brand on a full-time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week. As Cafe Supervisor you will lead frontline teams, maintain high standards of quality, and support with stock, rotas and daily bookwork.

You’ll be a key holder, liaising with the manager to deliver great customer service across 6,000 venues.

Qualifications

Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
Good communication skills with a focus on great customer service.
Team player with a can-do attitude.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
Supervising a team and creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.
Being a responsible key holder.
Assisting with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary.
Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
Placing orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels.
Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times.
Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
