Hastings Direct is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to own analysis and design for a defined domain within a hybrid office environment, weekly presence required in Bexhill or Leicester and access to quarterly departmental events. The role focuses on delivering high-quality change while growing Senior, BA and Junior Analysts.

You will lead across complex initiatives, shaping requirements, guiding teams, and ensuring customer and business outcomes are achieved through strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading business analysis across complex projects, programmes or domains.
• Strong experience leading, coaching and developing Business Analysts at different levels.
• Confident working with senior leaders, technical teams and third parties, with the ability to influence and build trust.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving, using data and insight to inform decisions and develop solutions.
• Experience in Agile environments and methodologies such as BDD, Scaled Agile or Scrum.

Responsabilités

• Lead business analysis and design activity across your domain, from discovery to delivery and readiness.
• Shape, analyse and document complex requirements, facilitate workshops and translate needs into specifications.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and mentoring to Senior BAs, BAs and Junior BAs.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, technology teams and third parties, providing trusted advice and visibility of risks and dependencies.
• Champion BA standards, methodologies and best practice, driving quality and continuous improvement.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies and governance to ensure outcomes for customers and the organisation.
