Hastings Direct is recruiting a Senior Business Analyst for a hybrid role requiring weekly attendance at Bexhill or Leicester offices, within a 90-minute commuting distance. You will work with CIO and business teams to shape change, capture clear requirements and deliver value for customers and colleagues.

You’ll lead analysis on large-scale initiatives, mentor junior BAs, manage stakeholders, and drive high-quality delivery with strong documentation and governance.

Formación

• Proven ability to lead analysis across large change initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; identify risks and opportunities.
• Experience eliciting, analysing and documenting requirements and user stories.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with senior leaders.
• Experience in Agile SAFe environments; knowledge of governance and risk.
• Mentoring or coaching experience for Business Analysts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead detailed business analysis across large-scale projects or multiple initiatives.
• Evaluate end-to-end processes using customer needs to define requirements and artefacts.
• Translate complex requirements into clear specifications with delivery teams.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements and options.
• Manage analysis deliverables, scope, risks, and backlog readiness for planning events.
• Review and refine defects and user stories for delivery teams.
• Provide coaching to BAs and drive best practice across the BA community.
