Job summary

Hastings Direct is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to shape and deliver change across CIO and partner teams. You will work closely with business and technology colleagues to understand problems, analyse options, define clear requirements and help ensure solutions deliver the right outcomes for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience leading analysis across complex change initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks and opportunities.
• Proven ability to elicit, analyse and document requirements and artefacts.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed analysis across large projects or multiple initiatives, from initiation to delivery.
• Evaluate end-to-end processes, define requirements, maps and user stories.
• Translate complex requirements into clear specifications with delivery teams.
• Run workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements and options.
• Manage analysis deliverables, scope, dependencies and risks; support backlog readiness.
• Review and refine defects and backlog items for delivery teams.
• Provide coaching to Junior BAs and drive continuous improvement.
