Job summary

Amey is seeking a Permanent Principal Building Surveyor to join our Advisory team in the UK. You will lead complex building surveying commissions, manage multidisciplinary teams and drive business development and client engagement.

You will provide technical leadership, oversee budgets and project delivery while maintaining high standards of professional conduct and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree and chartered membership with a professional institution (RICS/CIOB or equivalent).
• Significant post-qualification experience in building surveying consultancy.
• Broad experience across building surveying disciplines and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical teams and provide guidance to clients and suppliers.
• Prepare and check technical reports, drawings and project documentation.
• Oversee commercial performance, budgets and cost control.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams across locations and client accounts.
• Lead bids, framework submissions and work-winning activities.
