Job summary

J&T Business Consulting in Crewe seeks an experienced Chartered Surveyor to lead surveying instructions, diagnose defects, and prepare costed works schedules. You will manage repairs, administer JCT contracts, and engage with loss adjusters, insurers, and clients to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires MRICS/FRICS or MCIOB qualifications (or active progress towards), strong communication skills, and a solid grasp of CDM regulations.

Qualifications

• Ideally MRICS/FRICS or MCIOB qualified, or actively working towards.
• Excellent knowledge of surveying principles and practices.
• Strong understanding of CDM regulations and JCT contracts.
• Proven ability to manage variations, payments and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage surveying instructions and defect diagnosis surveys.
• Prepare costed schedules of works and oversee repair projects.
• Administer JCT contracts, including variations, valuations, and milestones.
• Provide clear communication with loss adjusters, insurers, and clients.
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and process improvements.
• Uphold TCF principles and professional ethics.
• Adhere to SLAs and KPIs in service delivery.
