Job summary

Desaga Recruitment Ltd in Evesham is seeking a Joinery Production Manager to oversee a bespoke workshop. You will lead joiners, machinists and CNC operators, coordinate production from approved drawings through to finished products, and ensure on-time delivery with high quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing production within bespoke joinery or furniture manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Strong leadership of workshop teams and multi-department coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage workshop operations, ensuring joinery is manufactured on time and to quality standards.
• Plan production schedules, allocate labour and monitor progress against deadlines.
• Lead and support joiners, machinists, CNC operators and finishing teams.
• Coordinate with design and project management to resolve technical queries.
• Review drawings and ensure materials, equipment and information are ready for manufacture.
• Monitor quality and reduce rework by addressing defects.
• Coordinate purchasing and material requirements with suppliers and internal teams.
• Improve workshop efficiency and maintain safe working practices.
