Job summary

Swisslog Holding AG is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to manage a multidisciplinary engineering team on-site at DHL Derby, delivering all engineering services within KPI guidelines. You will coordinate daily activities of Resident Engineers, ensuring professional representation of Swisslog and adherence to SLAs.

Role requires experience leading teams, automation exposure, and the ability to communicate at all levels.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Engineering Team Leader role essential.
• Apprentice-trained Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with Level 3 qualification.
• Experience of working with automation is essential for this role.
• Able to work at heights and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Adaptable to changing demands while sharing knowledge proactively.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of multidiscipline engineers delivering engineering services within KPI guidelines.
• Coordinate daily activities of Resident Engineers through effective planning and organisation.
• Represent Swisslog professionally at all times.
• Ensure all work meets the Service Level Agreement for the customer.
• Conduct performance management reviews and coach team members.
• Understand team strengths/weaknesses and lead under pressure.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and participate in risk assessments and documentation.
• Drive continuous site improvements in collaboration with the team.
