Job summary

Swisslog (UK) Ltd in Derby is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to manage a multi-discipline engineering team and deliver the on-site engineering service within KPI guidelines. The role requires effective planning, coaching, and professional representation of the company on site.

You'll lead daily activities of Resident Engineers, ensure adherence to safety regs, prepare method statements and risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Engineering team leadership experience essential.
• Apprentice-trained Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, Level 3+.
• Experience with automation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of multidiscipline engineers within KPI guidelines.
• Coordinate daily activities of Resident Engineers through planning and organisation.
• Represent Swisslog professionally on site.
• Ensure work meets the Service Level Agreement with the customer.
• Conduct performance reviews and coach the team.
• Promote safety and comply with Health and Safety regulations.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and maintenance docs.
• Drive continuous improvement on site with the team.
• Respond to high-pressure situations effectively.
