Job summary

EA Associates in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician/Technologist to join a multidisciplinary consultancy. You will support and lead technical delivery, coordinating detailed design and production information across projects.

The role requires strong Revit and CAD skills, BIM Level 2 standards, and the ability to work collaboratively with architects and other disciplines to deliver projects from design through to construction.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in architectural/construction industry
• Strong technical architectural knowledge and experience
• Excellent Revit and CAD experience
• Experience delivering projects to BIM Level 2 or equivalent standards
• Experience producing and coordinating detailed technical information
• Understanding of construction, materials, detailing and relevant standards
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Suitable technical qualifications, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Support and lead the technical delivery of projects across multidisciplinary teams
• Developing and coordinating detailed design and production information
• Producing and managing technical drawings and project information
• Coordinating project information and maintaining technical standards
• Providing technical guidance to team members
• Assisting with design coordination, quality checks and project delivery
• Supporting CAD/Revit standards development and implementation
• Collaborating with architects and other technical disciplines
